FBO Ground Transportation in Kansas City
The reason you fly privatedoesn't stop at the jet.
Serving Kansas City since 1996.
Rated 5.0 on Google
A private flight is planned to the minute. The ground leg attached to it should be too.
Tess plans the FBO transportation around the current flight, the passenger and the onward destination. The passenger is not starting the ground side of the trip from scratch.
Private Aviation Ground Transportation | Your FBO pickup starts before you land.
Before the aircraft arrives, Tess works from the current flight information and the FBO actually handling the aircraft, not simply the airport code. The passenger, destination, vehicle need and designated trip contact are tied to the same plan.
If the timing changes, the pickup is adjusted around the new arrival. The plan is built around the facility the flight is actually using.
FBO Ground Transportation | Where the chauffeur meets the passenger depends on the FBO.
FBO ground transportation does not use one universal meeting point. Tess plans the pickup around whichever meeting point the facility allows.
- Planeside
- where ramp access is permitted
- Facility meeting point
- when the facility requires it
- Customs-controlled release
- on some international arrivals
Private Ground Transport | The person arranging the trip knows the pickup is handled without being at the FBO.
Many FBO trips are arranged by someone who will not be at the pickup. That person may be an executive assistant, flight department contact, host, affiliate or another trip arranger.
Tess keeps the arranger updated while the passenger and chauffeur handle the arrival. The arranger hears the pickup is handled from Tess directly.
Aviation Ground Transportation | The passenger can step off the aircraft and get on with the day.
The flight is one part of the passenger's day. A meeting, hotel, home, event or next destination is still ahead.
Tess treats the private flight arrival and the chauffeured ground leg as one trip, so the ride connects the arrival to what the passenger came to Kansas City to do.
The passenger leaves the aircraft, meets the chauffeur and moves into the day without taking over the logistics Tess was hired to handle. When the trip leaves Kansas City instead, the same planning runs the other way, with the chauffeur timed to the departure.

A few things worth knowing before you book with Tess
What information should I provide for an FBO pickup?
For FBO transportation, send the flight details, the actual FBO if known, passenger name and contact information, onward destination, vehicle needs, and the person Tess contacts if the plan changes. If the FBO is not known yet, send the information you have and update Tess when it is confirmed.
Can the chauffeur meet the passenger planeside?
For FBO ground transportation, planeside pickup can be coordinated where ramp access is permitted. It is not guaranteed. The FBO, airport, customs process or other access requirements may set a different meeting point.
What happens if the private flight time changes?
Private aviation ground transportation has to stay aligned with the current arrival. Tess uses current flight information to adjust the ground plan. If the FBO, passenger, destination or trip contact also changes, send that update to Tess when you know it.
What matters when comparing FBO transportation companies?
When comparing FBO transportation companies, look for a provider that asks for the actual FBO, works from current flight information, understands that access can vary, and has a clear plan for the passenger handoff. The same questions apply when comparing private aviation ground transportation companies in another market. The provider should understand the arrival before the passenger has to explain it.
